We are very simply a Christian family. We believe that God has called all Christians to know Him personally and share Him with the world. We try to orient our lives around those rhythms. We are just normal people, but God has not called His church to just be normal. Jesus calls His people to live contrary to the world and in step with Him. He is our vine, our lifeline.
I am the vine you are the branches, He who abides in me and I in Him he bears much fruit for apart from me you can do nothing.
John 15:5
So, our story is really Jesus’ story. There came a point in our lives when God let us know that His plan was on a completely different trajectory than the one we had envisioned. He began to draw us to surrender our whole lives to Him as a family. As He has drawn and we have submitted (albeit reluctantly at times), He has helped us experience a growing relationship of trust with Him. As the seasons of life progress and the world keeps changing, He keeps showing us that He never changes. We are Kris & Alania Henderson and we are missionaries. Sometimes we are foreign missionaries, sometimes we are local missionaries but we are always witnesses of our Lord and Savior.
Our son Brantley who began this journey with us as a teenager is now a husband and father himself and God has blessed us with a wonderful daughter in law Chloe and a sweet grandson Brooks. We thank the Lord for how He is working in their lives and how they bless us.
Our hope is that by engaging in our story you will encounter the Lord. If you are a Christian, we pray that you will be challenged and encouraged to participate in His mission and connect with His purpose for you. If you do not know Jesus as Lord and Savior, we pray that you will meet Him and begin a relationship with Him.
That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

There we will at times let you know ways that you can join us in making disciples of all nations. Under the Give tab you have the opportunity to participate in the Lord’s mission by helping fund the projects we are connected with in various parts of the world.

Kris currently serves as Associate Pastor to Macedonia Baptist in Ranburne, Alabama. He holds a BBA from the University of West Georgia and an M.Div from Liberty University.
Alania is a Registered Dental Hygienist and currently serves as a Faculty member at Georgia Highlands College. She holds an AAS from West Georgia Technical College, a BS from Georgia Highlands College, and a MHA from Florida Atlantic University.

I’m not easily impressed by people, however I am impressed by Christ living his life in the hearts and surrender of his people. You guys have blessed me when I needed blessing. I have seen God do amazing things through your smiles, service and encouragement. I’m grateful to see God do such a good work in and through you.
