God has called all Christians to go into all the world and make disciples. Several years ago, God began dealing with Alania and I toward surrendering our whole lives as individuals and as a family to Him. At that time we were living a normal life of working, enjoying ourselves on weekends and vacations, and even being active in our church. God began to draw us to a deeper level of knowing and trusting Him. Over the next couple of years, we did the best we possibly could to turn every aspect of our lives over to God. Our goal became then and remains now to be obedient in every area of our lives. As we have traveled this journey with the Lord, we have found that the more we are orient our lives around His purpose, the more opportunities He gives us to serve. Over these several years, God has progressively called, equipped and opened doors for us to live on mission with Him. This began with us being willing to serve in our local church by working with youth, starting Sunday School classes, discipling others one on one, and going on foreign mission trips. Going on foreign mission has been an awesome adventure with God that has gone from a one-week short term trip to living and working in Honduras. As God continues to guide us with both vision and opportunity for ministry, we enjoy living our lives to His glory here in San Pedro Sula, Cortes, Honduras.

We currently serve as pastor to International Christian Fellowship Church in San Pedro Sula. Our vision for ministry continues to be proclaiming Christ, admonishing everyone, and teaching everyone toward the purpose of presenting every man complete in Christ (Col. 1:28). We are both very involved in multiple aspects of discipleship as we lead this local body of believers. We believe that discipleship is the main purpose and therefore should be the main focus of the local church. We see this working in the local church through the preaching and teaching the Word of God by the pastor and elders and then extending life to life and family to family.

In addition to our ministry at ICF, Alania passionately uses her gifts in the field of preventative dental care to serve at-need populations here in Honduras. Kris is pursuing a masters degree at Liberty University School of Divinity, and Brantley is living in Jacksonville, Alabama while pursuing his bachelor’s degree in Spanish at Jacksonville State University.
